Change you can depend on?? Campaigning continues!!

<!-quote-!>quote:
The Republican leader, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, said he appreciated the more open floor debate but that it had not led to a bill that he could support. “Just because we get amendments doesn’t necessarily mean we will win them,” he said at a news conference.

“This package, had it been developed in genuine consultation, could have had a different result,” Mr. McConnell said. “But at the end of the day, it was — the administration decided — let the package be developed in Congress by the majority, and old habits die hard. You know, there was no meaningful consultation in the early part of the process. So if you don’t have that on the takeoff, you don’t end up having it on the landing.”

<!-/quote-!>

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/10/washington/10sti mulus-web.html?_r=1&hp

Go ahead, Own it!!! You Won!!! BUT, you didn't get the votes to come to Washington to be partisan, it was for "Change you can depend on." We have yet to see that spirit, Mr. Obama.

"Change you can depend on."

Who used that as a campaign slogan?

Before the DNC, Obama, I believe, used Change We Can Believe In.

After the DNC he 'changed' the slogan to Change We Need.

You claim that he campaigned on "Change you can depend on."

Or was it a Canadian PM candidate and you are just getting them mixed up?

And the difference is??? For an atheist, you can't tell the difference, eh???

The difference is you were giving false witness which is more of an abomination in your holy-book-you-haven't-read-yet than being a homo.

If you are going to put something in quotation marks and attribute it to somebody make certain that it's actually what that person said or wrote.

Maybe to believers like yourself being honest is not that big of a deal.
