What of Theosophy??

<!-quote-!>quote:
Theosophy is a doctrine of religious philosophy and metaphysics originating with Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891). In this context, theosophy holds that all religions are attempts by the "Spiritual Hierarchy" to help humanity in evolving to greater perfection, and that each religion therefore has a portion of the truth. Together with Henry Steel Olcott, William Quan Judge, and others, Blavatsky founded the Theosophical Society in 1875.

<!-/quote-!>

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theosophy

Can one make a case that each religion contributes something to truth???

Does that mean that truth lies not in one religion but something "God" is leading us all to.

Re: What of Theosophy??

Elaine, I thought you might jump all over this. Every religion contributing to a better understanding of the one holy "God". Isn't that what you want allowed, each person born in their own society, with his own view of "God" allowed his own way to salvation, or the hereafter??
