What's to fear about Obamacare?

Imagine you have the best most expensive care and your employer is paying a share of this expensive plan, and its effecting his ability to compete with his main product he makes or produces, because the costs have to be added in. Under Obamacare, fees could be put on the insurer or the insuree for not caring insurance. Suppose the fees are less for your employer than the cost of his share of your insurance. Far fetched, read and consider:

Fines proposed for going without health insurance

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20090908/D9AJCL500 .html

At this point, Democrats' main hope for the 2012 presidential election is that Republicans nominate another hopelessly feeble candidate. Democrats' main hope for the 2012 presidential election is that Republicans nominate another hopelessly feeble candidate. Given the GOP's facility for shooting itself in the foot, that may well happen.

And while the Dems do have a plan and proposal for healthcare, the Repubs have nothing but "no, no, and no," to any plan. Where is their plan or do they consistenly prefer negativism.

Personally, I believe that a public payer option would be the solution to competition for the huge and most prosperous health insurance companies. The congressmen are so in debt to these corporations, that they are deathly afraid to suggest a public plan as an alternative or even an option.

Consider this: Medicare is a government run health plan. Medicare Advantage is a private insurance company's alternative to Medicare, but with the government subsidizing it to the tun of $177 BILLION. Why, in ****, should the government sponspor private insurance companies in direct competition with the government's own plan--it makes no sense.
